TherapyScope ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of mental health professionals who use our platform. TherapyScope is built for mental health professionals. We store only what is needed to run the platform, give you control over visibility and messaging, and document our practices in this Privacy Policy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information across both our website and the TherapyScope platform.
We collect the following information when you use our website, join our waitlist, or create and use an account on the platform:
Email, first and last name, username, password (stored in hashed form), country and state, email verification status, and optionally your Google account link for sign-in.
Bio, professional title, avatar and cover image, personal intro, practice name, credentials, locations, specialties, insurance and payment methods, session costs, availability, education, and NPI-related details.
Profile search visibility, who can message you, who can see your contact information, whether you allow connection requests, and theme (light/dark/system).
License type, number, state, expiration, and verification status; any identity or license documents you upload for verification; and group practice verification submissions when applicable.
Posts, comments, poll votes, likes, bookmarks, and reports you submit.
Events you create or save, and your attendance/RSVP status.
Job postings, applications, and saved jobs.
Referral listings, expressions of interest, and saved referrals.
Listings you create or apply to, and saved listings.
Your connections with other providers and connection requests.
Direct messages you send and receive on the platform.
In-app notifications and your notification preferences.
If you use sub-users or team features, we store invitation and role data.
When you contact us (e.g. via our contact form), we receive your name, email, category, description, and any attachment you send.
If you joined the waitlist before launch, we stored your name and email.
Subscription and payment details are processed by Stripe (web) and, for mobile app-store purchases, RevenueCat; we store your plan and billing status but never your full card number.
